SO 1.25 yards gained per year since the 975D came out!

Averaged out, yes; in real terms it’s probably more likely a 5 or 6 yard gain every 4 or 5 years as each technological advance is found. But it certainly goes some way to explaining why some of us in the right age bracket have retained our length, and that’s without considering the influence that the new balls have.

I bought some Mizuno Hot Metal Pro today to replace my MP20 mb. They should bring my age down from 65 to 35;)
