At the moment my 3 woods don't match in anyway. All 3 clubs are different makes with different shafts. I can hit them OK but would it help consistency if I bought say 3 Nikes or whatever. To date I have just bought whatever I liked the feel of in the shop.
Is it important that your 1, 3, and 5 bear any relation to each other?

Oh one thing, I realise the answer might be "whatever works" but perhaps I have just taught myself to work around them.

I'm not expert but I found that I couldn't get consistency with my hybrid. This was a stiff shaft when the rest of my bag is reg. Replaced it with reg shaft hybrids and the difference was instantly noticeable.

SB, Think it certainly helps if you have the same shafts in all your woods,(feel/weight etc),but like you say if it works, have to ask yourself if you notice any difference in ball flight, distance, with the different clubs you have and is it worth the extra cost to change to all the same make, all the best mate...

The answer is No if you are hitting consistant distances and have a regular gap between your woods stick with them or change them all to Taylormade.
