Advice on links golf NW

Hi guys quick question for those that have played either. Which is the better course out of st Annes old links and west lancs? Both have got a open comp on the same day 36 holes and both same price so a bit stuck on which one to go too.

West Lancs for me.

But you can't go wrong with either Karl

West Lancs is better (and I should be bias, but it's true). Both courses will be in great condition and you would enjoy either as Huds says.

Yup, West Lancs.

SAOL is a good course, and a good test.

West Lancs has more elevation changes, is partially played amongst dunes, and is very tough challenge, that tests all aspects of your game, especially if windy (it normally is, and there is no protection from the sea there).

Is it the Ted Jarman? I've played in it the last 2 years also, may this year as well, if I'm back from Italy.

Sound, well organised, with a 2 tee start, and a realistic amount of time in between the two rounds.

I played with Joey Barton the other year - we didnt have a bet though.
