Adidas Goretex gear thoughts?

You are fulfilling your Galvin Green Ambassador role pretty well!

I've told you before, I'm not an Ambassador so you may wish to retract that remark as I'm fulfilling nothing and not obligated to do so just because I won a competition!

Galvin Green items have been mentioned and I'm forwarding the flash sales that come to light, is that not allowed or appreciated on the basis of sharing information on a public forum?

Your attempt to give the impression that my views are biased is without merit, so retract your remark!

H'mm! I seem to remember you mentioning that you had some sort of 'relationship' with GG, if perhaps not as an 'Ambassador'. Am I mistaken? If that's not the case, then I'd happily change 'Ambassador' (title) to 'ambassador' (description)!

My concern with the Adidas Gore tex is that is seems to come with a 2 year waterproof guarantee !
As its Gore Tex I thought it would have a lifetime waterproof guarantee like Galvin Green. As after all it's the Gore Tex that keeps you dry and not Galvin Green.
If this is the case then I would rather pay extra for the Galvin Green Gore Tex technology that comes with a lifetime guarantee

Al adidas GoreTex jackets and trousers come with the GoreTex lifetime guarantee and will have the large diamond shaped card attached

It says it's made with GoreTex Paclite which is the old branding for their lightest weight membrane - it's now called GoreTex Active. It's still good, just not their best, and will be covered under the GoreTex guarantee: http://www.gore-tex.co.uk/en-gb/support/guarantee

You've got to be realistic, a 3 year guarantee on a discounted / end-of-line garment is still a great level of quality.

When i got my Adidas Goretax jacket i could register it with goretex for their lifetime guarantee which i'm guessing is on the fabric. The Adidas 2 year bit i guess is for things like the zips etc
