I've just bought a Nike vr pro ltd edition driver from eBay. Never hit one before and I think I'm addicted to buying drivers. I've had a ping g10 g15 g20 and a rapture. Callaway ft9 tour ft9 tour authentic a bombtech grenade driver. A taylormade r1 and a cleveland xl custom.all bought within the last 8 months. I know I should get fitted for a driver but best places to go for fitting are approx 30 mins to a hour away. My local pro hasn't a launch monitor so if I go to him it will be me hitting all the drivers he has in the shop and see what works best. But would like to see some stats really. Now the annoying thing is I've bought most of these drivers without the wife knowing. Normally send clubs to parents house. She hates me spending money but I normally don't lose much money as resell pretty quick.but she wouldn't understand that.cant travel the 30min to a hour and then have a fitting without the wife knowing so I hope the nike may end my addiction. But I doubt it.ps I've probably missed a few driver out.

I have a razr hawk addiction. I have 9.5 draw bias, 9.5 neutral. 10.5 neutral. 2 x 11.5 draw all Aldila RIP regular shaft. 9.5 neutral stiff Aldila RIP. 10.5 draw bas I mix with reg matrix shaft. I've tried so many drivers and love this one.

My friend has just called me to tell me he's found a new 10.5 neutral with Aldila RIP reg shaft in a golf shop and did I want him to buy it for me.

Can you afford it if the answer is yes then that's ok. If the answer is no then it's a problem. I suppose you really need to be asking yourself is why. It does seem somewhat over the top. Is it affecting your life or the people that are important to you in anyway. Please don't feel you need to respond, just some food for thought.

Not affecting my life and yes I can afford it.i suppose that I'm just not happy with the big stick. Always looking for some extra yards. Have a Swing speed of 95/105 and probably only get it 225/235 carry and the odd bit of roll. Have gone back to the rapture as this seems the most consistent. Luckily I haven't bought any of the new drivers with a £250 plus price tag yet.need to bite the bullet and get fitted to get rid of all the doubt in my mind.

Oh yes the search for distance, that little devil. I would say look into yourself, your a good player. Think about it have any of those clubs really helped apart from the rapture which you seem to like. Personally I would stop looking for the holy grail. If you want to get fitted then do it 30 min drive is nothing in the scheme of things. You maybe will have to do it only twice. Then it's all down to you. Seems like your giving yourself to much choice putting a lot of doubt in your mind.

It's in the car.. I wonder if it will have seen some "light use" by the time I see you... It's very nice.
