This is not a review as such hence why in here but around 4/6 weeks ago I bought these irons on the forum from NW Jocko, fancied the price and actually looked at these and the CB3's weeks before in Direct Golf in Huddersfield. Over the years i've played Titleist (1 set) and Taylor Made Irons (2 sets) and even an old set of Pinseekers :p

Have to say these are probably the best irons i've had, I like the thinner top line than the TM CB's had, they are reasonably forgiving and also the most surprising thing was I liked the KBS tour shaft which a lot of posters felt was a hard and brashy shaft, I like it and find it a bit smoother than the PX 5.5.

Long and short of the story more than anything, dont be blinded by the popular brands, less marketed brands do and will work very well for amatuer golfers and should always be considered. (and before anyone points it out, I know TM now own Adams).

Oh so you got those did you, yes they are nice one of the guys i played with last week had a set real nice..

What are they like distance wise?

any loss comp to your old set?

I spotted them in the for sale section too late, as i'm now down to only 2 sets of irons:)

Very similar maybe a bit further which maybe (or maybe not) because the shafts were 1/2" longer.

Still short if you get one out the toe though ;)

Glad you're enjoying them mate. lovely clubs just not for me.

I'm a fan of Adams kit, known for their hybrids obviously but drivers are very underrated as are irons.

Had the old Adams boxer 3 wood and hybrid and I passed the hybrid on to Fish. Good clubs that got a bad rep because they used to be exclusive to direct golf and were associated with the letters gear.

Can't thank you enough Iain, its one thing clubs looking good but these play good too (well most of the time ;) )

Played my first round today with new i20 Pings with the KBS Tour shaft. Loved them. Great shaft for me. So pleased I went for that shaft.

I used to play Ping ISI irons, but switched to Adams a5s last year.

Excellent clubs and a good price too! You don't need to bankrupt yourself for a good set of irons!
