As A PC Engineer I belong to a few technical forums and a feature of many of them is that when a reply is posted, the whole post is raised to the top of the post list.

This means that the current active posts are always at the top and can easily be seen and replied to.

The problem at the moment is that a reply could be done to a post that is a week old, nobody gets to see that reply as it is buried on page 2 or 3.

Maybe a word in the webmeisters shell like

What do you lot think?

Sounds like a good idea but what about the newer posts which havent been answered to for the people that havent been able to get on the website for some time.

It's possible you haven't set your preferences.

Go into User Options/ Display preferences

second from bottom is Sort Threads by - try last post date
