Agree about taking Ibuprofen etc very bad for your stomach if you take to many regularly.

Instead of fish oil try eating fresh mackerel or herring ? probably one of the best things you can eat and as a pelagic fisherman it will help my industry ?

I totally dislike mackerel. Taking all my pills first thing in the morning is part of my regime and I often do not eat breakfast until very late morning.

...deep tissue massage is worth a try too...

I've had a couple of deep tissue massages that left me feeling like I'd done ten rounds with a heavyweight boxer. My back was amazing in a couple of days, 100% recommend a deep tissue massage.

One of the most painful things I’ve experienced at the time but the renewed mobility it provided was worth it ten times over.

I’ve had quite a few niggles and have used meds as a short term fix but in reality you need to properly address what’s causing the issues. My knees hurt so I dropped 5 a side, lost some weight, and did a few leg strengthening exercises and that seems to have done the trick. I also had back issues. I got a physio and have a core workout routine that has sorted that too. Painkillers can be helpful but try to use short term only if at all until you can find a way of properly solving the issue.

When i was spending a lot of time at a computer I used to have terrible neck pain and lack of mobility.
Physio provided by my work didnt help me so I tried a chiropractor. Took a few weeks going twice or three times a week but it really worked.

Am friends with a sports physio, who gets me Fisiocrem at cost price. Great stuff, but not cheap.

I have been thinking about taking CBD oil , was planning on staying safe and buying it from Boots , who have a three for the price of two offer , which brings it down to £27 a bottle , I think .
Was hoping to share it with another two guinea pigs and see what the results where .

I think that’s the best option, be interesting to see what (if any) benefits people get from it. I’ve just started taking the tablets myself (2nd day) so will see how they play out.

Did a little bit of research awhile back and the oil , taken in drops has the best results , can't rember the recommended strength , it would be good to keep this post subject going long term , to see the results over a broad spectrum. Good luck with the tablets and will watch out for your feedback .

My understanding of the oils etc on offer is they're practically useless given the extremely low dosage that they contain. Perhaps a more placebo effect?

According to the British Medical Journal (BMJ), high street products contain roughly 25mg CBD, compared to the 150-1,500mg/day that users are given in clinical trials.

I'm mo medical expert and can't comment with any authority on the above but it would tend to suggest likewise. Unscrupulous businesses cashing in on fad?

I've suffered from arthritis for years, had numerous operations in relation to my condition and I still find a decent anti-inflammatory plus regular exercise is the best form of defence. I'd love to try medical grade cannabis products to see what the fuss is all about and experience if their is any truth or merit in the claims. Sadly I just don't see this happening in my lifetime.
