Everything but go in, been within 6 inches at least 10 times, had one overhanging the lip, horseshoe the cup, even straight in only to bounce back out, I've holed out a few full length shots, just never for a 1.

Had my only one during a solo round in '97.
160 yards, slight downhill into the sun
Hit a 7 iron, knew I'd hit it well but lost it in the sun.
Couldn't find it on the green or fringe, looked in the hole and there it was.
And there was nobody else on the whole course......

I've had 2. Second one was the best as I was golfing with brother in law and I lasered the yardage which was 150yard he asked what I was doing so told him 150 is a good 8 iron so in theory if I hit it correct it should go in the hole. The rest is history.

Had my first one this year trying out a new course with a mate.
115 yard par 3. Punched a PW. It landed a foot from the hole, horse-shoed, stopped on the lip. And then dropped.

Nope. Still waiting here. The stupid thing is my closest was on a 270 yd par 4. Got a lucky couple of bounces on a hard fairway and ended up within two feet. Missed the eagle putt and tapped in for a birdie.........move on!

In all my years of playing only ever witnessed one other, my mate Ray Taylor getting one at East Brighton last year.
