Good to see him hold on and manage to get the job done. Good to see him calm down and talk to the caddy when the biggest decision of his career had to be made in that waste ground on 18.
Just hope that's not his season over, after all, he won last year and then had a very below-average season ;-)

Maybe but he is hardly going to go on TV and say no the guys a total tool is he. Woods would have won that tournament easily a few years back his final day presence doesn't seem to be intimidating anymore.
If he thought nothing of him he would have said nothing so it speaks volumes for what he thought of the great man.
Building process for Tiger and he's very close to being back 100%,I firmly believe all he needs is to complete it on the last day and he'll be totally back where he belongs and this will happen soon.
Anyone who thought he was finished or thought he would be outside the top 100 needs put in a straight jacket.
Cracking final day and a great win for Rock.

If Tiger had thought his way round the course today as he did in the first three days, he'd have strolled it. He just didn't seem quite 100% as he tried to push things a bit today.
Give him another couple of months and we'll see what he's like in the run up to the Masters ;-)

Don't think he is finished but he will not get back to the level he was at in 2000,01 etc due to the injuries he has had and obviously being older and also the fact that everybody else has upped their game. As for thinking he would be outside the top 100 then yes that was a bit daft and something I certainly did not think would happen.

It looked to me like Tiger's swing was more aggressive today, the last 3 days his swing seemed more controlled, today it was back to the real thrash we are used to and this seemed to result in less control. Good week for him though.

Shooting level par isn't going to intimidate anyone,,, had Tiger gotten it to -3 at the turn then anyone would crumble in his company. Robert Rock played some solid golf down the stretch, Tiger was having to force it after making bogies at 4 & 5. Good golf, has been very watchable for 4 days.

just a bad day at the office,-2 through 3 and looking good but fell away but thats what happens.i'm chuffed with how he played over the 4 days.......great stuff!!!!!

Tiger was leading 'greens in regulation' going into the last round, but seem to hit hardly any today. Still think his new swing is a work in progress, as it didn't seem to stand up to the final round pressure.

Really happy for 'rocky'. Always liked him as a player and I always took and interest in his finishing positions in competitions.

When it comes to shots played, Rory finished 14 under, and that's worth noting. It was only his lack of knowledge of the rules (and his caddy's) that lost him the tournament. Well done Robert Rock. To start on the final day, paired with Tiger, and complete the job is something special.
