One of the guys I played with today put a 6" putt wide of the hole....didnt even scare the lip.

Same here, I had a 15' foot birdie putt and walked off with a double, four putted !!, the 3rd putt from 6" went sideways. Hopefully the greens are better this week !!

It’s the putter.
You definitely need a new £400 putter and not a £30 putting lesson.
Well that’s if my golfing experience is anything to go by.

Had a first in the group I played in yesterday. One of the guys was teeing off and literally as he started his downswing, a gust of wind blew the ball off the tee and he caught it on the first bounce. Luckily it was driver (so a bigger surface area) but it was a bit of a top, as he must have caught it right off the bottom grooves, so it only went about 20 yards.
