Ok, so I'm trying to sit back and watch the feckin golf, and hopefully see Rozza finish the job off, as is looking likely, and Sky is doing all it can to spoil my nights viewing, with Adverts, more adverts, and all that drivvel from Harmon and others.

Its so feckin annoying, gimme BBC coverage for Golf anyday.

And seriously....is it just me, or is Harmon the most annoying tw@t to listen to ??

I think Monty's been ok. Quite enjoyed a different side to him.

and don't blame Sky for the adverts, they can only take the coverage they are given, actually some adverts (not Many) are better than commentators waffle while there is no golf.

Nope, you havn't had that much to drink, I've enjoyed Monty's commentary. Someone must have told him after Augusta not to mention HIS Ryder cup team !!!

I quite like Harmon, though not so much him staring down the camera but can talk some sense plus knows more about the pro game than a lot of people

Much happier with this coverage than the masters. That sound byte from "Georgia on my mind" still makes me wake up in a cold sweat!

I do have a strange urge to buy callaway x22's, a razr hawk, a rolex watch and consume large quantities of seven seas vitamins.

To be honest though, why are they bothering covering that show jumping event. The "sport" should be banned until a role reversal happens and the riders carries a horse until their leg is broken going over a stupid jump.

agree completely. any sport that caters exclusively to the rich should not be given mass coverage...did you see that a horse had recently been sold for over 10 million quid..its a horse.. it can jump and dance sideways..10 million, just sit back, quaff your pimms and plot the downfall of the poor.. stop pretending that youre sportsmen and women...

Adverts don't bother me. I pop to the toilet, make a drink etc.

Coverage is great IMHO. Butch is a bit of a knob, but there's alot worse.

I love Sky's coverage. Looks great in HD too. Rory is beyond ridiculous.

I've really enjoyed Harmon and Monty. I like the way he talks into the camera too, American style.

But I had the Sky "US PGA Golf" flash either side of the advert break. Complete waste of time, especially with the "Sponsored by Rolex" flash too.

NBC/Golf Channel, but yes, you're right. Just the Golf Channel coverage over Sky's commentary team.

US style broadcasting, 60% golf, 40% adverts. Sky are just taking advantage though, they could fill more breaks with highlights if they wanted to.

Sod em I can't stay up all night watching this anyway, recording it so I can watch the important 60% and skip the rest!

I would much rather have a few adverts and what ever else sky want to give us every week of the year in preference to the BBC with no adverts and about 10 days of golf a year.

I do get fed up with the same old ads though.

That said, we don't get the phil mickelson exxon mobile ad, so that's something to be grateful for. Any one who has watched golf in the us will know the one. Yurgh, it is puke inducing.
