Keep getting logged out ? why is this ? is there an cut off after minutes of inactivity or what , was replying to a post , got couple of phone calls . finished the reply but couldnt submit it as i had been logged out .. frustrating

It must be something you're not doing or something to do with your browser not remembering you. I logged on during the evening of the first day of the new format, asked the computer and forum to remember me and I've been logged on ever since.
I use Firefox if it's any help
To me - a total Ludite - it seems some browsers work well with this format and some don't. Might be worth trying a different browser to see if it helps.

Are you using the old bookmark on your browser?

If so, delete the bookmark, log in (And ask the web page to remember you), then create a new bookmark.

That's what I did and have had no issues since.

I have the same problem. The forum will have a setting where after XX minutes of inactivity from your account it will automatically sign you out - if you have not signed in and ticked the box so that the browser remembers your login details then you will have to sign back in. Bit of a ball ache

chrome user and no issues, had the one where typed a reply then it had logged me out but if you log back in it will still submit the reply, just tick remember me and you'll never have to log in again. Does mean you forget the password after a while though

I thought the remember thing just meant you didnt have to enter your password anymore , now that the log in is our user names it would have meant anybody could sign in as me if i used that. ye all know my user name & the password would be saved.. DOH silly me ..
