Not standing up for Phil too much because he is a massive douche however I do hate the wall to wall coverage and fall out from anything now not just golf.

Like when rory was quizzed before the us open about the width of fairways and said their 60 yards wide if we are missing them we deserve to play bad (something like that can’t remember wording to the letter)

I wish we heard less yapping and more action from the pros. I have zero interest in Rory’s opinion on the fairways or Phils on the rough. Show us what you can do on the course rather than talk about it.

Yep, you do. Plenty of flipping difficult, narrow, tough golf courses over there. They just don't take tour events to them.

They really don’t want the pros to look silly and hurt their egos.

Apparently, Mickelson has said this about the Ryder Cup because the fairways weren't wide enough and the rough was too deep for him to play the kind of golf he wants to. Frankly, words fail me.

Before the tournament, he praised the course. After they'd lost, he pulled it to pieces. Does smack of sour grapes IMHO!
