A question for the visually impaired amongst us

I only need glasses for distance really so I do need them for golf. I prefer to use my prescription sunglasses though. They are a sporty type so are comfortable to wear and they really help in windy conditions as my playing partners often have problems with there eyes watering. I've thought about contacts/laser surgery but because I'm really sensitive to bright light I'd wear a pair of sunglasses most of the time anyway. A good cap usually solves the rain problem as well.

Contacts here too and currently starting to have issues with close vision/reading with them in which is depressing. Optician has adjusted lenses so one is spot on for distance and the other reduced for reading. Long term it will probably be reading glasses over my lenses when required I think. I managed to cut my eye a while back so no lenses for 6 weeks and had to wear my glasses on the course for the first time. It didn't make any difference and was lucky not to get caught in the rain as it was Spring and dry weather!
