A question for the chipper owner(s)

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, it's just a bit unusual thats all.

i struggle with long irons. i can hit a 4 iron but not as accurate as i would like or repeatable. i can hit my 5 wood in different ways. i can cut it it from 170+ or bomb it straighter. the hybrid, much the same. cut it in soft or hit it strighter even longer.

I understand.
My only concern was what will be the difference between the new 19 deg hybrid and your 5 wood thats all. Will they not be similar ?

my 5 wood is a slazenger 20*. ive just checked. this could be wrong as was discussed in that thread about wrongly lofted clubs. i can assure you, i hit the 19* hybrid a lot further than the 5 wood. possibly due to the new technology in the hybrid compared to the £20 4 year old club.

Fair enough, I was just asking

Do you have to use your chipper once you get withing a certain distance of a green ?
Or can you use different clubs depending on distance, slopes, tiers etc?
Or can you alter the set up with your chipper to change the flight of the shot, ball position/open face etc ?

Yes. No and.....probably not.

Oh, hold on.....I've slipped into a parallel universe.....
