Played my mate today and he had ONE OF THOSE ROUNDS took my worst ever defeat on the chin... that's the last time I'm talking to him!

6 over thru 11 holes and lost 9&7

8 down at the turn!!!

Gutted. He was holing them from everywhere.... with his shonky putting stroke

James, just as I was talking S&T up to my teaching pro last night and said how well you play with it. Didn't mention ball flight laws as the lesson was only 45 minutes

I've got a ghost spider putter now and it's doing OK.

My round wasn't too bad either ironically on the 1st I had a tap in par, and on the 2nd but he drained a monster putt, found a flooded bunker on the 3rd and dropped on the back edge (downslope), he holed a monster on 4, 5, and 6 and a mahoooosive one on 10, flooded bunker on 11 and it was all over.

He did blow up a bit after that and finished 3 over (which was still 2 under his h/cap).

Just put it down to him having a rub of the green then James........
