Popped out for 9holes this afternoon with a mate, despite the cool weather, and strong wind, and with little expectation, as since the enforced winter hibernation, and various little strains and niggles, and also changing my irons, my game's not even looked like appearing yet.

Rushed down there for 3pm as agreed, and proceeded to double the 1st, before recovering to par the not difficult 2nd, and then hit a zone I cant recall for a long time, to Par my way around to 9

Hitting the 'zone' like that is a beautiful thing, where your Drives fly where u want, and the ball flies off the irons, before your Putter finishes things off !

BUT - it leaves you wondering when the hell it will appear again !

Till then, I'm just pleased I know I can still play like I want to , .....sometimes !

Well done. If it was as blustery as my course then scoring conditions were pretty hard so that is a good knock. I showed a few glimpses of the old Homer today but it's still intermingled with some real rubbish.

Good feeling isnt it Chris , we can all remember a time when things just happened the way we planned them.

I got through 10 holes the other day in -2 gross and that was the worst it could have been. Birdie putt after birdie putt but only 3 dropped , my irons were like lasers and it was a wonderful feeling.

Keep it up and take confidence from it

Its great when it clicks, it also gives the confidence a big boost which is never a bad thing. Well done.

I've got to turn my Bounce game form into Medal/Stableford form.
35-39 points regular as clockwork on a friday morning but so far this year I have flattered to deceive in the comps - even though I've won and come 2nd already.

Looking to put that right on wednesday!
