I have been looking for a new set of irons, have looked at a couple of sets without success, however was traveling from Fife to Edinburgh today with 2 sets in mind, - I had a set of Wilson Di9's reserved at the AG store, however I noticed a PM late last night from another member offering a set of Cleveland TA5 Gunmetal + wedges. As I drove over the Forth bridge I was undecided on which route to take, I chose the path of Craigmillar Park Golf Club, why I don't know, the allure of a brand spanking new set of irons was still in the back of my mind.
I had one look at the Cleveland set and knew I made the right choice, I went in with the thought of maybe haggling £20 or £30 off the asking price but just couldn't. The irons are mint, 3 & 4 look like they have never been hit, 5- PW are top notch, add to that 54* and 60* Gunmetal wedges and a Vokey 50* gap and I simply did not have any room to haggle with.
