For various and largely unknown reasons our club pro has suddenly left the club 'by mutual agreement'. The club has purchased all of his stock and are begining a massive clearnace sale to make way for the new pro.

As a result they are selling all of his Titleist Gear at 25% off - hence £216 for a 910 driver.......

For once in my life I'm not actually looking for a new driver :D just wondering if it's worth picking one up and selling it on - same for Scotty Cameron Putters.

It may be just too tempting an opportunity to spend money I don't have.

Go on be a devil..you know you really want one ;)

You can buy them for £250 so by the time you've paid ebay fees and risking the potential hassle I don't think it's worth it just to sell on unless you already have a buyer.

Well worth it if you want one for yourself though.

. Any idea why the pro left so quickly?

There's a few rumours, none good. He'd been the pro for 32 years, and tended to polarise peoples views. Truth is he appeared disinterested in the club +members and maybe it was in the best interests of everyone that there was a change of personnel?? In the 14 years i've been there I never once saw him on the course or hit a ball- ever!

The shop itself is quite cramped, at least it feels that way, probably due to all the vest Jr had there. Bizarely I know of very few people who actually brought much from him anyway.

It's all rather odd.

John.

A cracking price, my place is selling them for £250 and theres no upgrade on the Aldila RIP shaft either they have the fairways and rescues as well, really nice looking clubs ,not as good as the R11 :D

I tried to resist, I really did, but as johng hadnt parted with his money by 1pm today, I took the plunge.

A shiny new 910 D3 9.5* with Aldila RIP Stiff shaft on its way to me for £216.

Result.

I think the D2 is still available........ :D
