9 month lay off

After a 9 month lay off due to massive dip in my golfing confidence i decided to play again,Horsforth Leeds par 71 parkland course 5976 yards.Felt a bit unsteady on the first tee with a group of members having a quite loud chat in the background,1st shot in 9 months straight down the middle.oh and 1st hit with new 9 month old driver well pleased, worst part over.Anyway as the round progressed good shot bad shot etc ended up shooting gross 81 nett 66 not bad me thinks.
I became a bad golfer almost packed the game in,so 1st game over things can only get better. I Hope.

Have you hit any balls to get youself back into it. If not then that is some impressive scoring

Not hit a ball in 9 months,Only made myself a social member this year because i did'nt know if i was going to carry on or pack in my golf was that bad.

Will let you know,i know from my experience 2 rounds can never be the same.I was not a bad golfer could shoot some good scores,but my confidence had gone big time.
