8 hours at work or 8 hours practising Golf tough choice!!! However due to the weather lately I have not hit many balls recently and went out at the weekend for 3 hours and I was aching all over the next day. So would need to get fit first before attempting 8 hour practice sessions

I'd love to have the time to do an 8 hiurs practice session. I'd have a few breaks and be able to work on all areas of my game.

Sure enough the way that amateurs practice eight hours is far too long. However professionals are much more "professional" about the way that they practice. It simply isn't a matter of just hitting one ball after another. They vary their type of practice between their short game and long game and analyse carefully in their performance closely monitored by their coaches.
We could improve our games by following their example, but we are amateurs....
