I'm playing tomorrow in a new society at West Sussex tomrrow and it looks like a stinker of a day for ;(
West Sussex is on my list of must play corses as it's been a European tour stop and is ranked 78th in the WORLD and 30th in Britain. Iv been so exited for the last few weeks and now we're expecting the biggest storm for a long time to hit ;(

If it's as good as you think it will still be great - mark of a fantastic course is when weather is rubbish and you still want to go back

Mind you having been a European tour venue doesn't guarantee it being good

We have nust had 20 minutes of the heaviest rain I can remember, just like a power shower.
I bet the golf course is under water at the moment, good job it has a couple of hours to drain...

I'm playing a 4BBB Match at 7.45 in our Winter League, BBC forecast is dry until mid-afternoon with winds up to 24 mph, I'll be happy if it's correct.

I used to hate playing in strong winds but now relish the challenge it brings.

Well just walked the dog and here its dry and a decent breeze. Tee off at 8 and what's the betting the rain will be belting it down and the wind getting up :(

Torrential rain woke me up at some ungodly hour. Now dry but the wind is certainly getting up. Should be fun this am on the course.

West Sussex is my local club and now at 2.30 in the afternoon it is very windy here but not raining (although the clouds are building). I hope you are enjoying the round :-) It's a good test of golf and will be fun to play on a blowy day. It certainly is a very lovely traditional club and the course plays exceptionally well in the winter due to it's location on chalk.
