Depends on the type of course, but on a dry course it would be 21°Fli Hi, 6 & 8 irons SW & Putter.

Played that combination a few times on holiday and it makes you thinlk about your shots.

Maybe we should get a golf day sorted where we have this 5 club rule.

I think mine would be:

19* hybrid
6 Iron
8 iron
52* GW
Putter
I was just about to put it to everyone. Go play your next round with five clubs and see what you score. Do report back!

Fun post mate. Makes you think. I'll bet that if you went out with a five club combo your scores wouldn't be vastly different.

thats what i expect. what i recon will let you down is missing having more wedges. those of us who left the driver out will not suffer too much i shouldnt think

3 wood, 9 wood, 8I, PW and putter.....don't need anything else round my course

210, 165, 135, 105 and putting. Could par the lot with this combo, but not if I've forgotten how to pitch/chip!
