I share your pain, gross 87 today and missed 7 times from inside 4 feet!
I did have 6 single putts in my round, so not all that bad! 34 putts in total. The four-putt was a bit annoying. Nice second shot with an 8-iron to about 20 feet on our par-4 2nd hole. Was left with a slightly downhill putt, particularly near the hole, that I didn't want to charge too much, but left it 6ft short. Slightly charged the next putt trying to make the par and knocked it 4 ft past, and then missed the one coming back (it lipped out). Grrr! :angry:

I am working really hard this summer on holing out from 3-7 feet. It's making a huge difference. I'm using a mirror to check my basics and one of these too http://www.perfectmygolf.co.uk/putting/putting-alignment/no-3-putt.html Makes the hole look huge once you've sunk a few

Shot ten over at wrotham heath last week and that included 3 x 3 putts. Funny thing was, every putt I hit well, just aiming bad!
Just hope you carry on the good form generally, as my next round was a shocker!

You mentioned the 4 putt but failed to mention the two lucky bounces that would have cost you four shots!
I didn't have any lucky bounces, but I did have a couple of unlucky ones, both of which cost me a shot!
