Grand Slam Winner
Because I have sold my G10 3 wood, along with the driver, last week I went back to carrying my trusty old Callaway Steelhead+ 3 wood. Much smaller than the G10 but I remember that when I played with it "full time" it was a really useful club to me and I had a lot of confidence with it.
I only used it a couple of times during the round but the shots I hit with it were much better than I would have hit with the old G10 (which I had totally lost confidence with).
It felt a bit strange having it in my mitts again, but I will soon get used to it.
I may well find it is the 3 wood of choice rather than spend £150.00 getting the i15 fairway wood to match my new driver.
