I couldn't work out what had happened. I felt the 2nd hit and assumed I'd brought a stone up with the shot. I couldn't see the ball anywhere and knew I hadn't thinned it over the green. Everyone was laughing but I stood there dumbfounded and confused. When they told me I have to be honest it took all my self control not to windmill the wedge into oblivion
