3 Battery terminals on Powakaddy

Red and black are the +ve and -ve. What is the yellow terminal for??

I am no expert with PKs but some experience in electricals/electronics.

One set of wires will be higher current powering the motor the other will be lower current to power the electronics (the negative will be used for both purposes).

Looks like it confirms Jim8flog’s answer, it will be another positive connector but for a different part of the trolley ie display or something.

The yellow/black is 3v, red/black is 12+v. So maybe the yellow is just for a power take off to the electronics. In which case the charger only needs red/black terminals with the yellow recharge being redundant?

my understanding is that the yellow terminal is used to differentiate between a lead acid and a lithium battery.
