Actually just set up GolfMonthlyForum as a mini league in case the old one wasnt there, its there if we need or want it

I did it last year and led it one week. I got to my August holidays and couldn't do it and didnt bother any more and still finished about 12th

The biggest issues I had were that it can drag on forever. If you have a couple of bad weeks you're out of it and there's little chance of getting back. In the big money tournaments nost people are going to pick similar names (the big players) so there will be little difference in position. In the smaller events you're much more likely to pick a different team to others but with so little cash on offer it's hard to make up the short-fall.

Last year, can't remember which week it was, I clicked the tab for "this week's field". Up came a list of players. Wombled through it all, picked my team - not many "names" on the list but never mind - only to find out (too late to change) that the list was actually for the previous week's event and I didn't realise - you'd expect the ET to change the listing pronto but there must have been a glitch. Luke, Lee, Gmac, Kaymer were all playing and I didn't have any of them! Lost over a million euros on the rest of the field that week and it's hard to claw it back.

does anyone know who was the guy who won last year, looked like he was in about 12 different leagues, didnt recognise him from the forum. looked like a professional fantasy leaguer.

Apologies if im wrong, but he looked like an interloper, is there some way we can keep membership to contributing members of the forum.

If there's any interlopers it will be easy to test and weed out.
