2009 Putter

Having watched the vid I would say his argument is flawed, you hold a putter upright ie vertical not parallel therefore the balance argument is not valid.

Although I wouldn't dismiss it totally as a good putter without trying it, who in the 70's could of imagined the weird and wonderful putters we have commonly around now.

I know people try and copy the tour pros and their kit.
They have to have the latest irons, woods, shafts, grips and even now the new Pro V 1s
Why then don't people look at the best putters on tour and copy their putters.
Look at the putting stats, choose the best putters and see what they use.
Lots of Scottys and Yes putters and lots are basically Ping Anser copies
You dont see the best putters using wierd instruments.
As mentioned here already, learn how to use the putter you've got.

Its ideal for the elderly golfer as it doubles as a walking stick. ;)

Strange looking design though, I would love to try one just for the hell of it.

That is a bit strong. I think I would use that over a K1 speed, or an alien wedge. (At least no one knows what it is until now).

That said, surely what he is promoting is a face balanced putter, and these have been around for donkeys.

what do you think ? cool or what :D

No its not cool Its certainly not something I'd be seen dead with in my bag... I can hear the laughter now.

Its just plain wrong.

Regardless of the design, if you don't hit it dead centre, surely this club will twist horribly. Which suggests that all the current line up of putters like the sabretooth or spider are wrong, with their high MOI thingy!

Difficult to say it's ugly though, when you compare what else is around!
