After some opinions please guys, who uses a #2 hybrid.

Basically, due to an inability to use a driver or 3/5 wood I have taken to using my 3/4 hybrid off the tee & I'm generally pleased with the results. I was thinking of adding a #2 hybrid to the bag in the hope of a further 10-20 yards of the tee?

Your thoughts? And if you use one, which one?

Hi

I have a #2 TM rescue which I keep in the garage and use when my games on song (its dusty right now!!). A great club for the summer months as low launching with loads of roll. Now youve mentioned it might just get an airing in sundays medal, 0.1 off needed to get down to 11, bring on the #2 (rescue that is, mind you my game might resemble a #2!!)

Go buy one its only money, your golf is more important.

It's a shame you cant hit a driver or a 3 wood or a 5 wood.
You're missing out on a lot of fun and distance

I know!! I just can't use one at the moment, going to try and practice as much as possible and get some lessons early next year. For some reason, I personally see a driver as a big part of Golf. Geet on the Tee, get out the big stick and Whack!!! One day maybe!!

I found a 2H (17deg) snapped in half in the trees. Took it back to CT Golf and had it re-shafted and regripped for £27! Shaft is Dynamic Gold Superlight, as the head is so heavy, I can swing it without losing control. Wouldn't dream of putting that shaft in any of my other clubs!

It's a Callaway Heavenwood and I love it.

You might benefit from a steel shaft in the 2H more so than a 21 deg hybrid.

I use a nike vr 18 deg 2# hybrid, couldnt hit it for toffee at 1st but now I love it off the tee, not much shorter than my driver (I am cack with a driver atm) good out of the 1st cut and from fairway

go for it

I've been using a Cleveland halo 2i for years. It really is such a versatile club. Off the deck - no problem. Out of the rough - wot grass? Off a tee - simples. Even putting from off the green in wet conditions is fine. The shorter shaft than a 5 wood (I use a steel shaft) gives me a lot of confidence at address. I strike the ball like an iron rather than a wood, and invariably like the result. The only loss is yardage, this particular 2 hybrid is not a modern hot faced club.
