2 Comps in one day

Hi All,

Just a quick question about handicaps and playing 2 comps in one day. This weekend I am playing in a medal at my home club and then a fourball open at another club, does anyone know what I would do about handicap if I have a good round in the morning? I am currently off 5.5 so one shot under SS and I will come down, however I will not know the SS before I tee off as the comp at my club will not have finished yet.

you use SSS to adjust your handicap after the medal as CSS wont be known. You have to adjust yourself down to 5 if you shoot below SSS

If the CSS isn't known, you cut yourself against SSS if the results aren't published before your next game.

You may already know (and it won't be relevant off x.5) but you can't give yourself 0.1 if you don't make buffer.

As said, you self cut against SSS but can't give yourself +.1
