• Thank you all very much for sharing your time with us in 2025. We hope you all have a safe and happy 2026!

1st ever comp Sunday, any do's or dont's I need to know?

When you are in a hazard like a bush or the trees look for animal scrapings and use the rules to your advantage. Though it's important to relax an enjoy it, it's equally important to focus when it's your turn to play and take your time. I have wasted countless shots by rushing.

Also accept before you set out you will hit some bad shots. It's inevitable. When they happen shrug them off and assess the next shot with a level head. Know when to take your medicine and when you can have a go.

Good luck. I hope you have a blinder :D

Be careful there Tiger. You only get a drop from animal scrapings if there isn't something else impeding your swing, like a bush or a tree.

Using the bush as an example, if your ball landed under it and was preventing you from making a swing even if it's in the animal scraping, you don't get a drop.
