So... Daughter 2 (age 20) has a job for 12 months where she will need a car.

I don't want to buy/sell one for this period. Can anyone recommend a lease company that might offer an all in one package for 12 months? Or is there some other method of achieving the same end?

Thanks

12 month leases are available but you are paying for the highest depreciation period of the car's life so they are expensive. Personally I would look at buying an older car then selling on after a year if no longer required.

Edit: Just remembered that you can now lease used cars so you might be able to find something suitable

I bought a 53 plate, Prugeot 306, 1 owner 51k, full service history, top spec cd player electric windows etc etc for £1400 after a year it was still worth that, there are loads of them out there just like it, owned by the older generation, serviced, well looked after and a bargain. 18 years old Niece got a toyota 52 plate very similar for a grand, great runner, still using it today.

For 1 year only dont see the need to be spending a few grand for something you wont keep or own.

This ^^^^^^^

I know it's none of my business, but intrigued to know why after the 12 months you definitely know now she won't still need a car?

She's going back to uni. She's doing a year's placement.

Thanks for the thoughts. Even with used cars, 12 month leases are expensive. Looks like buying an old Micra for £500 might be the best option after all.
