£300 for a driver or putter which one.

Ironic thread this is, I brought a new driver last year a JPX 850 didn't really get on with it so sold it and brought a Ping G30 didn't get on with that either so brought a TM Burner s/h and cheap but don't use it much, anyway after buying a set of JPX 850 irons last week and reading this thread I thought it may be nice to get another 850 driver to match the irons so went in to see my pro to which he told me that a member had just changed his set up to srixon and was selling his 7 month old 850 driver and couldn't believe my ears when he said £75 ex condition just slight bag rub on shaft. The only down side of all this is the wife wouldn't let me take any more money from the housekeeping so had to sell my h2no cart bag to fund it.

have you posted this in the wrong tread, did you mean to put in the one where the guys wife made him sell his clubs?

After spending £400 on a putter fitting and buying a Raa putter about a month ago, I've played 16 holes in past 2 days had 3 birdies one day with 68ft in total and 4 birdies on the bounce today totalling 40ft so, I'd say, think I'd rather spend the money on The putter/fitting as spending that on a driver isn't going to gain me much in yardage.
