I have my had my second cut of the season...down to 19.2.So i am well on the way to my target of 16.We have another qualifier next week,so maybe another good round might take me to 18. :cool:

Following on from my previous post..I shot a 78. Based on my h/c of 20.2 how much would you have expected my h/c to have been cut by ?...The css for the course is 68. :cool:

If i get stuck behind a society on a solo round i will generally play more than one ball,also practice some putting.

Hopefully i can re-produce it on Weds in the monthly medal..

Had my best ever round today in our Friday roll up...gross 78 nett 58...Shame it was not a qualifier.Still should move me up the table in eclectic comp.Front 9 was 41...back nine 37.Putting was the key, no 3 putts.Driver was still a bit wayward but no major disasters. Monthly medal next Weds so...

I have had a 0.8 reduction so far, so i am on my way to reaching my target of 16

My worst was a 7 on the first par 5..which was caused by a 50 yard drive...just reached the ladies tee..

First ever comp round today without a blob..36 points,with seven singles...Which is the main difference this season.I seem to be able to scramble better to get that 1 point. Our next qualifier is this Friday, so maybe another cut.. :cool:

I can't agree with this..if anything an electric trolley probably speeds up play..Our fourballs generally take no more than 3.5 hrs :cool:
