Best ever round today

Had my best ever round today in our Friday roll up...gross 78
nett 58...Shame it was not a qualifier.Still should move me up the table in eclectic comp.Front 9 was 41...back nine 37.Putting was the key, no 3 putts.Driver was still a bit wayward but no major disasters. Monthly medal next Weds so maybe another cut..

No..our cards only count in the qualifier's..

If you played with me and you wanted to get your handicap down we would sit in the bar afterwards, agree your scores each hole( as long as you holed out each time - no gimmees!),fill in a card against the course played e.g. yellows, sign and countersign it and submit it to the handicap secretary. It can then be considered for handicap reduction under the terms of "General Play". If you played that well it should be easy to remember and worth a try perhaps.

I agree. There'd be no shame playing off 19 (or less) if you were able to shoot 78's. Most players off 20.2 would only dream of breaking 80.... it seems yours has come true
