Hi I went to Celtic Manor on the saturday, normal pass cost £100 no bells or whistles. Everything there was in multiples of £5. Pint 5er, programme tenner, earphones tenner, bus tenner... was a great day really enjoyed it.. but it was a little pricey imho.

Hello Can anyone help me by suggesting putting practice that can be done indoors. My line has been off (i think i am pushing most putts) and my distance has been a bit off. I remember there being some things in the magazine but i have unfortunately thrown old copies out. Thanks in advance.

I cannot stick Provs. They are too soft for my putting and can easily ruin a game. prefer reasonably hard titleist such as nxt etc. I believe though for the better players where they have more feel etc round greens a softer ball may suit their game. But at the end of the day its personal...

Read 15th Club just after xmas. Made a massive difference to my game (see earlier post). Changed my attitude and improved my putting no end. All the best - put what you read into practice and I'm sure you will see a difference! Let us know if it works for you too.

Toonarmy At the moment i am a member of the Forest of Galtres. Not great, no invesment, course closed a lot and no thought goes into helping or running the club for the members and the future. Figure for the £80 or so more would be worthwhile going somewhere else. Where do you play at the moment?
