Hello

Can anyone help me by suggesting putting practice that can be done indoors. My line has been off (i think i am pushing most putts) and my distance has been a bit off.

I remember there being some things in the magazine but i have unfortunately thrown old copies out.

Thanks in advance.

Try putting on the carpet very close to the skirting board. (address the ball no more than 1" from the wall).

If you do not take the putter away and back through on a straight line you will "bump" the skirting board.

It is not the same as putting on the green - but you can work on your putting swing plane. It does work I have tried it and continue to do so now and again when I feel I need a little refresh of swinging the putter to make good contact on the line I mean.

Forget distance or trying to hole anything, just work on take away and follow through - without bumping the wall.

A good way to check if you are striking the ball with a square face at point of impact is to hit two balls at once.

You will know if you have hit them togeather but one will roll less comming of the putter toe as you wont get the same umph in the ball.

It should help a little.
