Advice on an away day/weekend package.

Just looking into a golf break in May 2011 to mark one of the old gits' 50th. 8 of us going and looking at Spain or Portugal. I use GolfBreaks.com to book our annual golf weekend in the UK. Prices are good and usually get a decent discount. I like that they arrange everything for you too and...

    Golf training aids.

Hapless Just wanted to say thank you for exactly the sort of service i want to receive...you are already living up to that statement in your OP. I ordered the Golf Rules Quick Reference Guide on Thursday and it arrived on Friday - superb! Even better, a nice little sweetener in the shape of a...

    GM Towers

Evening all...was good to meet you boys last night. I could happily have sat there for a few hours more talking about golf. Great fun. Sneds....honestly mate, what were you thinking bringing your girlfriend? She managed to see the coffee room and the inside of the lift...must have been a dull...

    3 Ball Team Events

Some ideas here => http://www.golfalot.com/LucyLocket/Formats.aspx#3player I have played Split Sixes, good fun, but only really works for the 3-ball, not alongside 3 other 3-balls. I like the idea of string ball. Takes a bit of organising, but would be really fun. Just issue all the string...

Golf Ball holder for Hole in One..

You could pop into a trophy shop and buy a 3 inch square block to put it on, have it engraved with the date, hole and course. Definitely spray the tee peg gold as Bob says, then drill a hole in the block, insert the peg, superglue the ball...cheese on a stick! Take a pic and post here for us...

On the cover of the magazine...

20-30 quid? I don't know what the competition would be like as I have not seen it done elsewhere. I know a few years ago we paid £40 for a copy of a newspaper from the day the father-in-law was born...a waste of my money that!

On the cover of the magazine...

Cracking idea! Probably won't happen as it's not core services for GM, but I would definitely buy one for my Brother-in-Law who is 30 next month. Off to look at moonpig now...

    Lee has not got enough

Come off it Murph, it was a60ft putt! He hit it hard to make sure he wasn't short, not to take a break out of it! In his mind at the time, he was thinking that he needed a 3 to get in a play off, so lagging up short would not have been good enough. And from 60ft, an extra ounce of power could...

    Lee has not got enough

You're right Brendy (happy buffday big man), got to be in it to win it...Westwood was, the other big names were left wanting. It was Westwood's to lose and unfortunately, he did just that. I am gutted, but I bet he feels a touch worse! The difference in winning it came down to small fractions...
