A lot of people in this thread have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
This has nothing to do with user testing or poor site design. It is most likely to do with the feed of the leaderboard stats being very slow which is causing a long loading time for the leaderboard page and...
I am also in the same situation as you this year, however I was a member at chobham 2 years ago. Really enjoyed the course as it's very well kept. Not the friendliest though and the members are mostly pensioners. There's a reason there's only around 15 members that are under 30
What's everyone's opinion on having their own logo printed? I'm a designer and so have my own logo for my cv and such. Do people think this is massively pretentious and showy off?
Was a member there last year. I thought it was a brilliant course with very nice greens. Don't be put off by the short total yardage. I played it nearly every day in the summer and never got bored.
Although impressive these types of things annoy me. It wasnt a 430yard drive as stated. it was 375 yards. Its like Having a 500 yard horse shoe shaped hole, and hitting a 100 yard wedge from tee to green and stating you hit a wedge 500 yards.
I've tried putting this idea forward to teeofftimes. Why can't they display how many players have booked for the given tee time? If I knew that at 4pm i would be stuck behind 10 tee times of 4 balls I wouldn't book it. I would look for a time that has less players during the tee times.

To be fair, he has a point. Its exactly the same with GPS, my watch displays the exact same readings as all the FREE mobile apps out there and i get more info from the apps.
They need to be marked and signed by a member so they can verify you're not cheating. Talk to the club and ask them to arrange some games for you, there will be plenty of 3 balls happy to let you join in
