New would be nice of course but I'm not against 2nd hand, I'm just struggling to find the more forgiving clubs, in good condition, with a +1" length shaft for the similar price as the new ones. Had a look on GB last night and couldn't see anything to filter by shaft length. Golfclubs4cash you...
I’ll have to have a better look, but last time I did I couldn’t seem to find much that was sub £400.
Plus I’m tall(6’4”) so need the shafts to be an inch or so longer, which doesn’t help the search. It’s only £9 or so to get the Takomos in that longer shaft….
Unless I'm looking in the wrong places, 2nd hand ones I tend to find of the more traditional brands are around the same prices of these new ones, and are obviously not in the same new condition in terms of heads or grips etc so still potentially need to end up spending more money anyway.
As a higher handicap player who wants some new irons but doesn't want to spend £1000+ to player 8 or 9 times a year but wants something new and forgiving, I keep seeing reviews on YouTube of both of these brands so just wondering if there are any other players in the same position that uses...
Yeah was hoping with him reviewing them they would be available in the UK, but seemingly not. Spoke to Adams and they said the only way at the moment to get them would be to have someone in the US buy them and then ship them over.
Anyone any ideas when the new range of Adams clubs will be released?
Looking for a new 3 wood and/or hybrid, and the reviews of those new ones seem very positive for the price point.
Yeah I get it's individual and what is comfortable, but surely the different designs must offer different performance, blade vs mallet for instance must do different things? Or am I over thinking it?
Hi all
I don't really know much about putters if I'm honest, so just looking for some thoughts / advice on what shape or design putter I should get for someone only playing for 18 months? Blade, mallet, toe down, ones with balls on, ones with stripes on etc. etc. - what do they all mean?
Thanks
Thanks for the advice. Yeah I thought the driver was quite old and could probably get away with the irons for another 12/18 months till my game improves - I just didn't know if it was worth investing in a newer (not a brand new model though) driver and if it would give me another 10-15 yards of...
Hi. I have been playing for about a year and have a 2nd hand set of Srixon irons and a driver, is it worth getting a custom fitting if I want to get new of both, or just for irons and a driver off the shelf is ok? Thanks
