Ridiculous, I do clean my shoes and dubbin them every now and then to keep the leather healthy but that's all, same as I used to do with the footy boots. As for ironing, just :confused:

I was there last year, its a tremendous event, even the practice days are brilliant!

Mine says, reasonable amount of ability and not enough practice or actual golf.

The Wisley used to have a £100k debenture on joining i believe but i am not sure of the state of play there now

I mostly find that i have played my shot before people expect, probably too fast if i am honest with myself.

Par 4 last hole - club Texas Scramble - we had to take a "not so special" drive and have 200 or so left to the flag in the left rough, both team mates have basically duffed their attempts, mine is as a good a strike as I can recall with my hybrid to 6 feet. We holed out and took home the spoils...

I use a 10 year old TM Rescue Mid hybrid and won't change it until it breaks, its just invaluable as a go-to option

Teignmouth Golf Club in a few weeks time, weekend away with the boys :)

I always chip it if i more than an inch or two of the putting surface, i just prefer it, my putting from off the green sucks.

If i had to pick a distance i would go for 95-100 yards as that is a full 52 for me, but the reality is that if i cant make it, i will take as much club as is safe and then play from there usually.

I have always been baseball, i have very stumpy fingers and just can't get comfortable with any of the others.

I won the club Christmas Texas Scramble last year in the only 3 ball against the rest of the field of fourballs, It was me and two Cat 4's and I (and probably the other two as well) played just about the best golf of my life and we finished 5 under par gross to win handsomely after handicap...
