I am visiting some non golfing friends 1 weekend in August with another golfing friend, we figured we’d play golf on the way home on the Sunday, anyone got any golf recommendations between yarn and Leeds?
I am heading to Spain for a few days and it would be nice to be able to submit casual rounds like I would at my home course. Is this possible with relative ease now the WHS is in place?
So it proved very difficult to get on any where on west coast sadly, so we have ended up at Lindrick, which is neither in the North West nor links so it's a good start. Though it does have a decent reputation of being a could course, and is normally in decent nick in the winter apparently.
Anyone have any suggestions of good winter courses in the NW or Yorkshire we like to get together on the 27th for an away day, last year we went to Ganton which for the time of year was in incredible condition. We are thinking Formby this year (assuming that do it's heritage and the fact it's...

A group of us twice year go away for the weekend for a couple of rounds of golf and stood night out. March we pay a little more each and October time we tend to look for something cheaper. Normally £80pp including breakfast evening meal and room for the night
It is my turn to organise and I...
...that doesn't like Jordan Spieth? His slow play, mood swings on the course, I think think it was the Friday, hit a bad shot on 9 I think and had a mini rant/meltdown about having to play on a timer, well pal if you didn't have a full blown conversation with your caddy about every shot you...
Adams DHY Pro 20 degree hybrid for sale, with headcover. The shaft in this club is an upgrade shaft I believe, it is a STIFF Aldila ATX75H-3.2 -S tour version, the condition of the shaft is easily 8/10, the grip is an Adams grip and is almost like new, I would again give this 8/10 for quality...
I don't think it is the Yips, the yips is a block you cannot make your brain do what you want it too, I have seen it in cricket with bowlers not even get themselves to the popping crease because they cannot fathom how to get from the start of their run up to the end of there run up.
Ernie Els...
It was uncomfortable viewing, he has history of this kind thing though, didn't he do a similar thing at a fairly recent open? Maybe not 6 putts however.
Jason Day made even worse for him, when being interview about his around and lamenting a 3 putt, saying that pro's should never really be 3...
I remember it is just a round of golf, and that there things that actually matter and will impact my life that are worth getting nervous or feeling pressure over. Playing golf is certainly not one of them.
