Golf weekends Cheshire/Northwest

A group of us twice year go away for the weekend for a couple of rounds of golf and stood night out. March we pay a little more each and October time we tend to look for something cheaper. Normally £80pp including breakfast evening meal and room for the night

It is my turn to organise and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for affordable golf in Cheshire and the north west?

Formby Hall used to do a £99 deal for 1 night and 2 rounds on their course, not sure if they still do.

The other De Vere type places (Herons Reach in Blackpool, Wychwood, Carden Park, Shrigley Hall etc) might do similar.

We went to Aberdovey in North Wales and it was about that for a night in the dormy house and 2 rounds aswell.

I have a friend that works at Wychwood Park - if you want me to have a word I can see what deals I could possibly get for you!

Yes all the above plus McDonalds hotels - Portal/Hill Valley.
