...that doesn't like Jordan Spieth? His slow play, mood swings on the course, I think think it was the Friday, hit a bad shot on 9 I think and had a mini rant/meltdown about having to play on a timer, well pal if you didn't have a full blown conversation with your caddy about every shot you wouldn't be on a timer.

He just comes across as petulant, backed up by his reaction to losing on Sunday, has he never heard of being gracious in defeat.

I appreciate he is a talented golfer and will probably be a top 3 player for many years to come, but I wouldn't miss him from the golf tour if he disappeared tomorrow.

He is certainly slow and often painful to watch

But i didnt for one minute think he wasn't gracious in defeat. For a young 20 something to come on camera 20 mins after his final round and explain his capitulation doesnt make me think he was that bad a loser

He may not be my fav golfer and he is painful to watch but how was he not gracious in defeat ?

Must have took a lot to do that interview

Made me laugh on the final round and the exchange with a referee over a drop when he landed on some sort of drainage cover. Was claiming his club might hit the metal cover when the ball was a good 6 inches behind it and a fair bit higher. Even Peter Aliiss suggested he was pulling a fast one to get a better drop.

I loved Danny's brother's twitter post last night......Speith is lining up a putt, have time to go to the loo, make a cuppa and decorate the spare room and be back in time to see him putt!!!

His "meltdown" was just brilliant TV.....especially given it yet a Brit in to win in the Yanks' back yard.

Simple fact is most people have celebrities they don't like for no particular reason - it's not them it's you in most cases
^^^This^^^ We only see what the media feed us, agree he's slow but judging him/them the way we you're correct, we all do it.

I think he's got slower, but other than that I think he's great for the game. I like watching good golf, and he's proven to produce that 90% of the time.

Considering how much he must have been hurting I thought he behaved exceptionally well.

He was a breath of fresh air last year, i enjoyed watching him win the masters

different bloke turned up this week, all the faffing about with his psr etc, = dull, dull dull.

I am pretty impartial towards him, to be honest. It's not that I _don't_ like him ... it's more that I don't _like_ him ... if that makes sense. It never excites me to watch him play, even though he plays so well.

He isn't easy on the eye with all the fidgeting over the ball and his swing always seems a bit jerky to me.

He comes across very well though I think, he's only a young lad and having to do the interviews and ceremony etc after blowing up can't have been easy.

He may also be the best with a putter in hand there's ever been, absolutely unbelievable.

Think someone else said it might make him even better having a setback like that, has been pretty much a dream ride to this point so not had to deal with disappointment too often.

There was a photo of him helping Danny Willett into his green jacket in the Daily Telegraph this morning, where he looked like he had just swallowed a wasp!

Spieth and Kevin Na isn't a TV scheduler's ideal pairing and I think in a way it was sad that the powers that be put a youngster (was it last year?) on the clock at his first masters and did nothing when it was apparent Spieth was slow all weekend. That said, as a gracious loser he was up there with Nicklaus and the others greats of the game

the wife came out with a classic last night .

is that the masters winner she said, while Speith was on screen? "he's got a face like a burst skitter"
