At the moment my game is top notch. Been dropped 3 shots in the last week and i am hoping to be dropped a few more (especially after being drawn to play the captian for the summer knockouts!!)
However, my drives are long for amateurs but i feel that i haven't got the correct launch ange and spin rate. Therefore i was looking at a matrix ozik xcon6 to put in my current driver, which if it got a professional pull out would cost probably £50-60 but a new one would cost £150+. When searching for a pullout or one in a cheap driver, i came across my driver with it already in but nearing £80. Do you think it is worth it and keeping my old driver just incase it does not work out

Well done for getting cut so much, so early on in the season. I think most people will say the same as me though,,,,,, if your hitting it long and straight why change it ??

That said, if you want to try and eek out a few more yards, get on a launch monitor and try the shafts first to see its worth the investment.

i forgot to mention, i have to hit it 150% every time to get it that distance. it is very light and also a very flexy stiff. swing speed is recommended at 80-90mph but last time i got checked out i was swinging 101.4mph

I think it's a no-brainer. I'd buy the second-hand driver and have two. Try them both out for a while and sell on the one you don't want. I had a Ping G5 with blatantly the wrong shaft for me. I bought another driver, tried them against each other and sold the Ping on.....hardly lost much money overall....certainly less loss and hassle than swapping shafts and all that business.

Well the auction has ended and i got it for £89 i would say this is a bargain as it is brand new and what i didn't realise, it is the s9-1 pro s which is used on the tour by Villegas and costs £250 :D
