Your Naughty Step

My 3 wood is on the naughty step because it is a temptress that entices me to go for glory shots I don't need to which mostly ends up in the jungle. I'm comfortable hitting driver off the tee so the 3 wood was a fairway-only animal. If I'm 220 out then I score better by laying up and hoping for an up and down rather than trying with a 3 wood to hit the green and ending up who knows where.

totally agree. The 3 wood always tempts me to give it a crack from the fairway , with very varied results ....

Titleist 913 D2 9.5*
Titleist 915F 15*
Titleist 910H 19*
Mizuno MP 53 - 7i,6i,5i,4i

Not naughty step as such, more a rearrangement. The woods will be sold when I clean and take pics and the irons will stay put and never sold.

Taylormade 19° Rescue. A thing of beauty, looks great, hits the ball like a dream. Good distance, lovely trajectory. Unfortunately it is in my hands and these things happen only every so often. Club is 1-2" too long in the shaft for me.

Decision is whether to put it back in, teasing me to use it, or sell it on ebay and put the money towards a Mini Driver that I fancy. It just looks so good though.............

My 3 Wood

It used to be my Go To Club off the Tee, nowadays I can't hit it to save my life. Even checking the strike mark left after a hit it's almost dead center yet it still goes flying off to the right! Might end up giving it away to a friend as I don't really need it as the gap between my 4hybrid and Driver is not that much at the moment (getting another lesson soon to try get more distance from my driver)

Titleist 913 driver
Ping g30 3 wood
TM Sldr mini
Adams xtdi hybrid....
Scotty Cameron putter

It's just a waiting game until there is more!

Only thing I have that isn't in my bag is my TM Spider Putter but it's just on a rest at the moment

Mostly putters. Currently the Ping Anser and Odyssey two ball fang. I prefer to look at it as a subs bench rather than naughty step. Ping back in for the Odyssey tomorrow. Perhaps more putter rotation than naught step

Ha ha ha ha ha

Just a Ping i25 3 wood for me, never really liked the feel of it. Really need to sell it.

Couple of other spares but nothing that's on the naughty step really.

This is probably the one club in my bag that would never go on the naughty step. If I won a million dollars tomorrow, it would take something special to make me replace the i25.

My 3w is just about the only club I'd never ditch. If I can't hit that on any given day, then my swing must be off and I'll struggle with every other club, as evidenced at Dundonald last week.

I have a 5w that I don't really use because I can't hit anything but a massive slinging hook with it. No point selling it, though, as it's about 20 years old. It's some kind of Lynx thing.

I have a few old clubs knocking about , non of which are on the naughty step, ping i15's, sldr driver, ping rapture v2 driver, G5 3w.

My my naughty step though is full of Hybrids...................sldr, Wilson staff ft tour, Titleist 985. Just can't get on with them.

I have a Adams hybrid that's currently in my mates bag,I just don't like hybrids.
Cleveland classic Xl driver that I very rarely use,it's just not as good as my G10,will sell when I can be bothered.
