Which would you say is the most popular glove and what glove do you use?

Just wondering as the one im currently using is the cheapest one when I lost mine at the driving range and needed an instant replacement, just wondering whats good for comfort factor

I like a good leather glove any brand I'm currently using a Nike

Srixon cabretta is good value for a leather glove. I tend to use a titleist players or permasoft and if I am feeling flush a FJ puretouch.

Just new to glove wearing again in the past month. No brand loyalty (yet) from me. Got a leather Srixon number and bought two leather Mizuno ones at Blairgowrie a couple of weeks back as they were on offer.


Both manufacturers feel fine to me.

Great value and comfortable glove - allows your hand to breath with the fabric sections

I'm currently using a Nike tech extreme IV, really comfortable and looks great.

Callaway Octane Diablo for me, gives really good grip even in high humidity...........& looks good too! about a tenner each

Bionic, but you can't use them in comps.

So Nike elite then. They just fit my hands well.

Why cant you use a Bionic glove in a comp?

I was wondering about the bionic glove in comps the other day, I bought one last year but stopped using it. Instead opted for fj weathersoft or sci flex. They had started to wear and found the bionic in a pocket on my bag and decided to give it a whirl again, great comfort and obviously helps with grip. Gutted as I can't now where in comps!

FJ Sciflex for me for general play as I get the different colours to match whatever I wear. Sad but true. I tend to FJ Stasof which is a thinner glove and better feel for comps (doesn't last as long as the Sci Flex which is the real reason I use them for general play)

I almost bought one of those Bionic gloves the other day, luckily I didn't! Didn't realise you can't use it in competitions.

I always go for the FJ Sciflex, great glove.

Srixon all leather and Footjoy/Titleist.

Always a FJ sciflex or titleist players softie. However got given a R11 glove which is just ridiculously soft and feels superb.

Mizuno Bioflex through the winter and Footjoy Pure Touch in summer. Both give excellent grip and breatability in my opinion.

Srixon Cabretta Leather for me. Can usually pick them up online quite cheap. Think the best I have found has been 3 for £18
