No real bargain buys, my ex neighbour was south TM rep so I got my burner2 irons cheap at the time. No paid for bargains but plenty of free ones!
 
How about limited edition cobra amp orange crush driver, 2 months old used 3 times on course. bought it off friend who was in need of cash. he paid 329 pounds for it from american golf i paid 70 pounds for it. he even gave me the original till receipt from ag
 
My Ping Anser 2. Got it cheap when I worked in a pro shop as a teenager and still have it today. Tempted to get it back in the bag soon as the putting much improved

How many shillings did it cost you then? ;)
 
non golf - club2000 in Germany. a swim, sauna and a beer followed by a lovely lady taking good care of me for the equivalent of £40

Golf - nothing, bought some cheap clubs but not bargains as I was still crap with them

Mizuno MP Shoes for £40 quid of the bay. They were retailing for £90 + at the time.

Cracking boots

Just bought a Cleveland XL custom driver for ton also. Only hit a few balls and was 9/10 when it arrived.
 
I suppose my new irons qualify as a bargain. Ping Zing 2's 3-SW plus a steel Ping Pal putter. All for £98.
